Atelier Sophie Impressions

So far I like Sophie, but her voice sounds very familiar.  I don't feel that compulsion of urgency that I did in the Arland and Dusk games.  Even Atelier Shallie felt like it had a bit of urgency to it.  What does everyone else think?

If Wiki is anything to go by, Sophie's VA also did Keina from Meruru (although I wouldn't know since I haven't played that yet).

Oh and she is Kaname Madoka from Madoka Magica and Nepgear from Neptunia. Looks like Plachta is a new VA.

Unfortunately, I have not made it to the new trilogy yet. :-| But I will get there!

What game are you on?

I have all of Arland, but none of the updated versions of Rorona, only the vanilla version in the lovely box (to match the limited editions I got for Totori and Meruru). I keep meaning to catch up and get all of Dusk, but, so far, I have only managed to pick up the Escha & Logy anime (because the game decided to be hard to find for some strange reason). So, yeah, I'm behind, but I'm still in the hunt (and I think I'm still the resident Annie fan).

Update: I realized that I had enough Power Up Rewards (Game Stop) points for several coupons, so ... Escha & Logy and Shallie have found their way to me. Going to grab Ayesha as soon as I can find one.

Is "trying to decide whether to pay $60 for the Vita version or $90 for the PS4 version" an option?

I paid the extra money for the PS4 version, but I don't think it is a big loss if you get the cheaper Vita version. The town feels emptier than the ones in the earlier games. The animation is rather simplistic. There haven't even been that many CGs yet.
